We are currently running a simplified menu which changes weekly, making the most of the amazing local produce on our doorstep (including from our own kitchen garden). Overseen by chef Pete Laurenson our food keeps with the style that has garnered many awards over the years in our sister establishments (including Best Restaurant, Best Chef (twice), Outstanding wine list, Bib Gourmands and Two AA rosettes). We have gone to great lengths to find the most local, ethically sourced and, above all, expertly produced ingredients. In cookery, that is half the battle.

The restaurant serves breakfast from 8.45am‑10.30am, lunch from 12pm‑3pm and dinner from 6pm‑9.00pm but around those hours, there are home-made snacks available over the bar for a quick nibble. Don’t forget Sundays — proper roasts with all the trimmings available from 12pm‑5pm.

All our bread is baked on site, and salad and veg is picked from our kitchen garden.
